Srinagar, June 21 (KB): Police on Tuesday said they along with 53 RR and 181 Bn CRPF have busted a militans module of Lashkar-e-Toiba, and also have arrested three associates from Central Kashmir’s district Budgam, officials said.
Police spokesperson as per Kashmir Bulletin-(-KB), said that Budgam Police along with 53 RR and 181 Bn CRPF busted a miltants module of proscribed outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba by arresting 03 militants associates of LeT.
“The arrested terror associates as per police have been identified as: Ashiq Hussain Hajam son of Ghulam Mohd Hajam resident of Zuhama Chadoora, Ghulam Mohi Din Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar resident of Zuhama Chadoora and Tahir Bin Ahmed son of Ghulam Ahmed Hajam resident of Badipora Chadoora.”
Moreover, “Incriminating material of LeT along with following arms & ammunition has been recovered from their possession: Pistol Chinese: 01, Pistol magazines: 02, Pistol rounds: 22, AK magazine:01 AK rounds 30 and one Bike TVS Red colour used in miltants crime bearing registration number JK 01N/ 8067 has also been recovered/seized in the said case,” he said
According, “Case FIR number 114 /2022 stands registered at Police Station Chadoora under relevant sections of law. Preliminary investigation revealed that arrested militants associates have been involved in transportation of militans, arms/ explosive material & providing logistic support to the militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba in district Budgam.” (Kashmir Bulletin–KB)
