Srinagar, Aug 14 (KB): As a move to promote national pride and unity, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Srinagar Sector organized a walkathon this morning under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from CRPF jawans, who marched from SKICC Srinagar towards Ghat No. 13 of Boulevard Road, Srinagar, while carrying the national flag high.
Ajay Kumar Yadav, Inspector General (IG) of the Srinagar Sector CRPF, speaking during the rally, as per the Kashmir Bulletin (KB), said that in view of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga,’ the Srinagar Sector CRPF has organized this walkathon.
“As part of this, CRPF jawans are participating. The motive of this ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally is to invoke a sense of respect for the Tiranga among people and to convey a message. We are very happy to organize this,” he said.
Notably, the walkathon is part of the broader ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, which encourages citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes, symbolizing unity and patriotism across the nation.
The rally aimed to reinforce the message of national integration and instill a deep sense of respect for the Indian flag among the local population.—(KB)
