Srinagar, Apr 13: Former Cabinet Minister and Senior Vice President Apni Party Ghulam Hassan Mir on Wednesday greeted the people of J&K on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi.
In a statement issued here, Mir expressed hope that the festival of Baisakhi which marks the celebration of spring harvest would be a harbinger of peace and prosperity in J&K .
He asserted that festivals like Baisakhi represent our rich cultural heritage that brings happiness and joy among the people.
“Such festivals provide a chance for the people of different communities to come together & exchange pleasantries,” he added.
