INDIAN ARMY SETS UP A DEDICATED COVID CARE CENTRE AT ARMY GOODWILL SCHOOL WAYNE, KUPWARA
Continuing with the Jawan – Awaam connect & the motto of ” TOGETHER WE FIGHT, TOGETHER WE WIN ” Indian Army has been fighting the COVID Pandemic shoulder to shoulder with the brave health workers & the Civil Administration as J&K grapples with a record number of coronavirus cases in the second wave.
The Indian Army Kupwara Terriers has established a COVID Care Facility at Army Goodwill School, Wayne, kupwara under the aegis of HQ 28 Inf Divwhere 50 beds have been set up for treating civilians referred by the District Medical Officer, Kupwara .
The facility has an experienced and dedicated team of Army doctors and paramedics to take care of Covid-19 patients. Also it houses a Pathology lab and a dispensary to cater for COVID prescriptions free of cost.
The facility was inaugurated by DC Kupwara, Shri Imamdin with Senior Army Officials, Army Doctors, CMO Kupwara & Chief Information Officer, Kupwara. On the occasion DC Kupwara thanked the Indian Army for this noble initiative & assured all possible support from district administration.
