Iqra Reyaz Showcases Artistic Prowess in Calligraphy

Srinagar: Iqra Reyaz, a resident of Larkipora in Anantnag, has been nurturing her artistic talents since childhood. With a penchant for painting and sketching, she actively participated in various drawing competitions, securing victories on multiple occasions.
However, her artistic journey took a distinctive turn when she delved into the realm of calligraphy to illuminate the verses of the Holy Quran. Remarkably, Iqra is entirely self-taught in the intricate art of calligraphy, showcasing her dedication and passion for this unique form of expression.
Inspired by the vibrant community of artists on social media showcasing their calligraphic creations, Iqra decided to embark on her calligraphy journey in April 2022. Notably, she hasn’t undergone any formal training and is entirely self-driven in mastering this ancient art.
Expressing her sentiments about this newfound passion, Iqra shared, “I feel blessed when I work on the Holy book. The sole reason behind this is to find peace; calligraphy gives me inner peace.”
Adding to her achievements, Iqra Reyaz recently completed her graduation from Cluster University, marking a significant milestone in her educational journey.
