The Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Kashmir is pleased to announce openings for two Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions and one Field Assistant position in the research project titled “Storage, transport and chemical evolution of infiltrating water in critical zone (CZ), western Himalaya.” This project is generously funded by the Science and Engineering Board (SERB), Government of India.
Position Details:
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- Eligibility: 55% marks in M.Sc. Applied Geology/Geology. Candidates with NET/SET/GATE will be given preference.
- Tenure: Initially one year, extendable up to two years based on performance.
- Field Assistant:
- Eligibility: BSc/3 years Diploma in Geology & Technology.
- Tenure: Co-terminus with the project and subject to the availability of annual funds.
