Srinagar, Jul 12: A police officer was shot dead while two cops were injured after militants attacked a naka party near GD Goanka school in Lal Bazar area of Srinagar on Tuesday evening.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that militants fired upon a naka party at Lal Bazar area, resulting in on spot death of an ASI and injuries to two other cops.

He identified the deceased ASI as Mushtaq Ahmad, while head constable and SPO, who were injured have been evacuated to a nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, Kashmir zone police in a Tweet said that militants fired upon a naka party, injuring three policemen.
