Bandipora May 17: In wake of the continuous lockdown due to the advent of second wave of Corona virus, Mother Helpage a humanitarian organization has again stepped in by distributing relief packets among the underprivileged section of society whose earnings have come to a halt owing to the COVID Curfew. The relief kits, distributed among various families of north Kashmir Bandipora district consisted of basic essentials including – flour, turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt, cooking oil,sugar, tea(lipton),tea (namkeen), soaps, match boxes among others. This was done to provide some respite to the deserving beneficiaries.
The distribution was a door to door one done with an intention to prevent assembly of people. It was carried on by the volunteers of Mother Helpage.
The distribution drive was conducted with complete adherence to the SOP’s and has been acknowledged by the local Auqaf Committee. The beneficiaries who were almost out their savings appreciated the efforts of the organization.
