Srinagar, May 18 (KB): Ahead of the highly anticipated G20 Summit, elite National Security Guard (NSG) commandos conducted comprehensive searches in the bustling area of Central Kashmir’s Lalchowk.
This strategic move aimed to bolster safety measures and create a secure environment for the upcoming global gathering of world leaders.
Reports reaching the Kashmir Bulletin — (KB), said that with the G20 Summit drawing closer, security forces are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the safety and well-being of attendees. Lalchowk, a prominent location in the city, underwent meticulous scrutiny as NSG commandos carried out systematic searches, focusing on potential threats and vulnerabilities.
“The NSG, renowned for its exceptional skills and training, deployed a significant number of commandos for the operation. “Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and expertise in handling critical situations, these elite personnel demonstrated their unwavering commitment to safeguarding public safety,” the reports further suggested.
Furthermore, “during the thorough searches, NSG commandos meticulously combed through every nook and cranny of Lalchowk. From buildings and vehicles to open spaces, no area was left unattended. Their efforts aimed to identify any suspicious items, unauthorized access points, or potential security risks that could compromise the safety of the G20 Summit,” it added (Kashmir Bulletin-KB).
