The Mudra Yojana has facilitated microfinance for small entrepreneurs, while Stand-Up India has specifically supported women and SC/ST entrepreneurs in obtaining loans for new ventures. Additionally, the PM SVANidhi scheme has provided financial assistance to street vendors, many of whom are women, enabling them to expand their businesses. These schemes have contributed to the rising number of financial accounts, particularly among women in the region.
