Two Army soldiers killed in ongoing Kishtwar encounter
Srinagar, Sep 13 (KB): Two army soldiers were killed while two others injured in an ongoing encounter with terrorists in the Kishtwar district on Friday.
The gunbattle took place in the upper reaches of the Naidgham area in Chhatroo, following a cordon and search operation launched by security forces based on inputs.
The two dead soldiers have been identified as Nb Sub Vipnan Kumar and Sep Arvind Singh.
Security forces are advancing into the Pingnal Dugadda forest area, where terrorists were suspected to be hiding. Heavy gunfire has erupted there.
