Srinagar, 09 April (KB): Police on Saturday said they have arrested two militants associate of proscribed militants outfit LeT, from central Kashmir’s district Budgam, officials said
Police spokesperson as per a statement issued to Kashmir Bulletin–(KB), said that police alongwith security forces have arrested two militants associates of proscribed militants outfit LeT in Budgam. Incriminating materials, arms and ammunition was recovered from their possession.
He further said that, police in Budgam alongwith 2RR & 179Bn CRPF have arrested two militants associates of proscribed militants outfit LeT from orchard area of Rathsun Beerwah, Budgam.
As per officials, they have been identified as Wajid Yousuf Akhoon son of Mohammad Yousuf Akhoon resident of Rathsun Beerwah & Mohammad Ashraf Sheikh son of Wali Mohammad Sheikh resident of Kawoosa Khalisa.
Moreover, Incriminating materials of proscribed militants outfit LeT, arms & ammunition including one Chinese Pistol, 02 pistol magazines, 12 pistol rounds have been recovered from their possession.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 35/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Beerwah and investigation has been initiated. (Kashmir Bulletin–KB)
