Srinagar, Dec 11 (KNO): While the cold conditions continued to prevail across the Valley, the weatherman here has predicted light rains and snowfall at isolated higher reaches from tomorrow (Tuesday).
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir, recorded the coldest night of the season at minus 4.8 degree Celsius.
The sub-zero temperature has been recorded across all the stations while Qazigund, the gateway of Kashmir, also recorded the coldest night of the season at minus 3.4 degree Celsius. weather
Gulmarg, a famous ski-resort, has recorded a low of minus 3.6 degree Celsius while Pahalgam, a famous tourist place, recorded a minimum temperature of minus 4.7 degree Celsius.
In Kupwara, the mercury settled at minus 4.0 degree Celsius while in Kokernag, a minimum temperature of minus 2.4 degree Celsius was recorded.
Meanwhile, amid the sharp decline in the minimum temperatures, the weatherman here has predicted light rain and snowfall at isolated higher reaches from Tuesday.
