Well known cricketer victim of administration and sports association negligence

Shopian,12-Jan: A well known cricketer Zubair Ahmad Pandit formally known as Zubair Lefty from a small village of Shopian district is a victim of administration and sports association negligence.
Zubair Ahmad is a left arm bowler, he played many tournaments like KPL, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and other local trophies. He was also selected for Ranji Trails. Everytime he shows best performance in the field.
Zubair Lefty while talking with media said I was not selected for Ranji Trophy only because of lack of support from district administration and sports association of Shopian district.
“We haven’t any full-fledged association, ground or equipments for expressing our talent”, he said.
Zubair Lefty was a govt employee, he left his job only for cricket but unfortunately due to negligence of administration and sports association he was unable to catch his goal.
He also added that our youths have much more talent but we haven’t any proper platform to express.
He said Irfan Pathan a former cricketer is a role model for me, when I was child I grew up watching him.
Now I request district administration and sports association to make such platforms that can help us to highlight our talent and make a full-fledged association and ensure the availability of equipments.
